The variegated foliage on this tropical shrub provides the perfect backdrop for the bright red flowers that appear throughout the summer. Plant in full, direct sunlight and fertilize regularly to promote continuous blooms.
Hibiscus flowers only last one to two days, so it takes a lot of energy for them to continually bloom new flowers. We recommend maintaining consistent fertilizer to keep them happy. Try an all-purpose mix such as our Kerby's Special or Espoma's Plant-tone, using as recommended on the packaging. You can also try a fertilizer higher in phosphorus to promote more flowering.
