Pitomba is a fruiting small tree or shrub that makes a beautiful privacy hedge. The fruits taste like a mild apricot. When given proper care, expect a full harvest three to four years after planting. Fertilize at least every spring, summer, and fall with a balanced mix to help with fruit production, strong roots, and healthy leaves.
