A staple in any butterfly garden. Spiked flower clusters make the perfect landing spot for any pollinator and the tubular blooms are a favorite for butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and others. Blooms practically year-round, does great in sunny garden beds as a backdrop, and thrives in containers. Come early spring, if it's leggy, merely cut back no more than two-thirds of the plant, it will easily bounce back.
